Optimistic times ahead for job seekers in Finance, Insurance and Real Estate

As the Australian economy successfully shifts from mining to other sectors, there is an increase in employment opportunities for individuals with in-demand skills, according to the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey Q3 2016.

Especially in the finance sector, where institutions are looking to increase productivity and to become more competitive in today’s digital economy, professionals with specialised IT skills, who can use new technology and help these companies implement more modern IT infrastructures are high in demand.

According to the survey, hiring intentions were highest amongst medium-sized businesses for the July-September period. Across finance, insurance and real estate, 18 percent of employers showed intent to hire new personnel.

This is the highest Net Employment Outlook of all sectors in the last 3 years. So, for job seekers in these industries, it is time to polish up your resumes and get optimistic.
